guys, anyone trying the Intermittent Fasting (IF)?
In a Nutshell is that after a fasting period (lets say 16 hours after ur previous meal), don't eat anything and u go exercise hard hard. Ur body after the fasting period will have nothing to burn except from ur fats. After the exercise, go eat something and ur body will absorb all the nutrient more efficiently (instead of going to form fat).


there are a few diff version of IF. Eg 5:2 (eat 5 days normally, then fast 2 days in a wk);
Warrior Fasting (everyday fast 20hrs, eat period 4 hrs); Leangains Fasting (everyday fast 16 hrs, eat period 8 hrs).


want to try out the Leangains Fasting as it seems the most possible for normal ppl lifestyle.
FWAH! starving myself to absorb the huge amount of lard i eat more effectively and efficiently.

tried before 24 hrs fast for 2-3 days before haha. overall not bad since alrdy on lchf so dont feel really hungry too

chocolate is hard to resist le,i usually jiak sugar free or dark chocolate ones

if jiak multigrains bread is ok or not?

bread of cos cannot. the only carb now i eat is yam and vegetables nia

read somewhere that multigrains may be misleading.

multigrains could be just "multi" + "refined grains"


if is "multi" + "whole grains" then ish good.

so must read the label carefully. if label never really specify clearly then i suggest just go for 100% whole grains nia. dun care multi-grains

I did the program. 3 months lose 20kg.
I'm still doing IF now, probably been doing it for more than a year, became second nature already. Just started LCHF (or rather it's carb nite) 2-3 months ago.

From my experience, I didn't lose that much weight on IF, but lost about 3% body fat on carb nite (now about 14%). For the first time in my life, I can see my six pack distinctly last time was just flat, but can only see a little bit of the shape. Planning to stop carb nite on Christmas.

this is the one i usually jiak , my mum mentioned it sold out most of the time, so she will buy bonjour one


yam is quite hard to find le. the nice one i like is at upper thomson road there, but from raffles place to there is kinda

tried before. Combine with 150g carbs, 200gprotein,70gfats. From 83 to 78in 3weeks. Cardio 1hr with some light lifting.

hmm from the label i also can't tell it is refined or whole grains.
it simply put multigrains nia.


last time i used to eat bonjour 12 grain loaf



recently i switched to sunshine 100% whole grain
