Anybody got this issue before? Care to share more info?

Usually 3-4 weeks will heal, but mine around 2 year plus already.

Chronic and specific movement will activate the pain, docs right now dunno is it costochondritis or not..

My doctors can't really seem to diagnose the medical problem.

No results from X-rays,CT,MRI

Anybody know of some better docs to diagnose this issue

Thanks in advance

having this condition for 2-3 years, apparently MRI scans show some bone erosion or notching in the center of the sternum.

Conditions being ruled out:
Heart/Lungs/Arthritis

Anybody knows of other specialists of medicine to look at?

serious? 2-3 yrs that long..

recently i also got this costochondritis after a viral infection.
did ECG and x ray, nothing.

now, everyday got to take painkillers at every 4 hours..
otherwise, the pain is relatively heavy..
making it difficult to breathe.
very panic and anxiety

Probably serious damage and decays of costochondral joint tissues and cartilage. Nutrition that helps regenerate and repair cartilage may be of help.
