Do yall go eye examination every year? Like those that will check eye pressure, refractive power, retinal, etc.

Which hospital or clinic is good? Any recommendation?

Thanks.

I encounter floaters and blur vision. Under bright light more visual. Started since 2 months ago. Went snec walk in, checked no abnormal. Cost about 130. Senior consultant. Will be going for second appointment next month.

For mine is that, I just feel my vision not clear, unsure if it's because I sleep late. Even with my new spec also unclear, tiring.. But didn't really have other things coming into vision, except that may feel something pass by the corner of my eyes in few seconds, but it only happen like 2-3 times a day. I think I will go polyclinic and check first.

Sorry to bump this as I don't want to create new thread.

Went snec, this Ang Mo doc (think is senior doc, a specialist), look like very relax and snake a bit in front of me.. Make me feel wonder, is he good a not. Lol

It was a app that schedule months ago to see my 1big1small eye ball. He just shine here and there, use the microscopic machine and ask me question (like any pain - I not pain) and then say no issue. Seriously, I tot he will go further to check more as the method he use, already done by previous doc.

At the same time I asked him on another issue due to last time infection, that is how I was spotted to had this 1big1small eye ball.

The story is like this, I had infection few month ago and recover, but sometime when I wake up or see too long on monitor, it will be a bit reddish @ around the same area of the recovered infection part. But I do think the infection hurt my eye a bit as my feeling tell me that my left eye wasn't as good as before. There is something but I can't tell why just feel is not same compare to my right eye. I can't say is pain as it is not painful.
My infection is quite scarily, it had a small scratch cut @ the white area.

Asked the doc, he say he can't see any abnormal.
Since no pain, mean no issues Lo.

BTW, my eye also had one dot of floater, sometime see it, sometime don't.. Zzz. This one I went tts check before, found no abnormal and it had been there since many years but just annoying.. Lol.

Any idea, what test can see inside the eye ball?
Beside using special eye drop and microscopic?
I was thinking of go check again if the "feeling" still there after few months. Maybe not going snec. All doc there like only do surface check.
The doc which is I see during first app is the best, she check very detail. The rest, scheduled one by another doc wasn't that great.
Lol

There are tests to see the inside of the eye. But dunno the name, you can probably Google it.

Depending on your profile, symptoms etc, the doc will decide whether to do it for you or not or if he suspects that something might be wrong with the inside, eg retina tear or worst, retina detachment.

If you go private, you can get the clinic to do it, but do you really need it?

ahhh like tht ah..
I asked him why 1big1small, he can't explain or don't want to explain. Which left me a blank. And keep lecturer and test another NB doc infront of me. Feel that is not very professional lol.

I just google and i think my previous visit for eye infection could be known as scleritis.
even tot the scleritis is clear but sometime i dont feel right ahha. See how I go then.

This is how it look like.. tht time

Yup. Only when the hospital eye clinics think a case is complicated will they refer the patient to SNEC where all the experienced senior ophthalmologists are.

Suggest that you go to the polyclinic & get a referral to a hospital. That way you pay subsidized rates. If you go direct to the hospital, you'll be treated as a pte patient & you pay pte rates.

if doesn't have specific issue, still can get referral to specialist clinic for eye check? šŸ˜Æ
