You dont need Vit D3 if you get abt 15min sunshine everyday.
Otherwise it is a v impt supplement

Psst.

Not necessarily. You really need to get yourself measured to know for sure, but chances are, you may be deficient even if you're in tropical Singapore.

Not true. That is dependent on the UV index and cloud cover

Ah, we are talking abt SG, being a tropical country with lots of sunshine most of the year.
UV is the main contributor to Vit D
Get 15min sunshine which means for a cloudy day, 15mins is just not good enough.
However, we can still get sunburn if we stay outdoors on a cloudy for too long and still dont get enough Vit D?
Of course if its really blazing hot, 15mins maybe too much exposure to the high UV.

Just be sensible abt it!

I agree. I heard on BBC radio that Lebanese govt supplement their bread w Vit D cos they realise their women are Vit D deficient cos they are generally covered from head to toe!

So old folks who avoid the sun, 3rd shift workers, workers in Malls & offices who are in their office fr the break of day to nightfall, homebound folks are likely to be Vit D deficient.

Just a quick one, I wonder if taking ZMA the same as taking both Zinc and Magnesium separately? Cos I read ZMA helps in muscle recovery too, sounds like a plus to me

Magnesium is not found widely in our diet so a good supplement is always useful.

Your choice of Mg Glycinate is not the best value available. It works out to be about US70c per 1000mg which cost 27% more than another brand

My favorite choice is Mg Citrate which is even cheaper than the above at US34c per 1000mg
Click on the "Magnesium" tab in this excel file for price value comparison: GET319.xls Use that page & compare with your fav brands.

Cheerio!

take separately. iirc they compete for absorption.
plus most ZMA supps use cheaper lousier forms of these minerals.
