Blackjack Neck looks very nice. Feel like if I get it, I must get a pair at least. Love the finger loop hole thing at the end...

izula is not designed for throwing.. got a few buggers abuse their knives and abuse the ESEE warranty. They deny they throw their knive and expected a 1 to 1 exchange.. hope non of us do these, or they'll blacklist us..

I think only those morons on youtube will do that. Our knives are too
precious and expensive to abuse man. Sim tia leh.
If it is a good blade, we respect and use it the way it is being made.

Talk abt throwing, i like throwing knives too.
Too bad it is illegal here.

Yea man throwing an expensive knife...the moment you miss and the tip hits the floor and breaks, your heart breaks along with it.

My solution...$3 kitchen knives from Cold Storage that I found were quite well balanced

Nice. Next week I go get 10 and throw to my heart's content. Haha... Kidding. But which cold storage you go? Haven't seen them before leh. Happen to really need kitchen knives. Just moved house.

Trying to throw a non-throwing knife is an insult to the steel.ESPECIALLY since the izula is a carbon steel.Too hard at ~HRC58. Normal throwing knives are only around the HRC50 range, even samurai swords are only around HRC55. and thats a huge difference cause the rockwell scale is not linear. Throwing knives need to be soft and take impacts without breaking, thus they cut like **** cause they're not sharp like VG-10 or S30v.Swords need to tahan impact too, so they're softer then knives. Our knives are specialty cutting tools(usually), they can be super sharp and super easy to snap or nick compared to throwing knives.

I know... i throw most of my knives (except those really expensive ones) to test them. And the izula won't break unless i go throw it at concrete. Actually, i've thrown my mini ak-47 on concrete and it's perfectly fine. If u're wondering why i did that is because i want to get rid of my mini ak-47, and until now i can't get it destroyed =/
And, katanas are arnd HRC60, if not more. Samurais NEVER use their edge for combat- they use the sides of their blades, which are laminates. They only use their hard edge when they go for the kill.
