If u go back tru the old threads i believe the types of legal/banned knives have been gone over quite a few times already..
No daggers/balisongs/gravity/Automatics/all sorts of weird stuff are not allowed.
Basically if you just want a manual folding pocket knife, it's fine..
More expensive does not necessarily mean better. But more often than not they're more awesome.
Hi sorry for backreading..

so those from dealextreme as long as its not spring assisted..aka manual ones can go pass customs?
how about the length?

TIA!!

Yup manual one will pass. As long as the blade length less than 5 inches it's ok. Coz i havent brought in any folder larger than that except for the XL Espada and L Espada, which was pretty troublesome process.

Selling off a few knives....

Any interest in these?

Looking at $75 for the pair or $42 each.

Item is BNIB and discontinued. Blade is AUS8 stainless steel which is a hell of a lot better than the unknown stuff you get from some of the chinese sites. Black Zytel scale with texturing to make it look like carved G10. 420J stainless on the reverse side. This is a framelock knife with a tang flipper. Very slim and has a pocket-clip with either tip-up or tip-down carry. Price includes shipping to your residential address. Add $2 for registered post. I'm not responsible for loss of package.

I can do PayPal at no extra cost if you have a confirmed account. I do not accept bank transfers due to the nature of the item.

If you'd like to self collect (at my convenience) I'll take off $2 from the selling price. Not looking for trades as I just did a stock check and just realised I have WAY too many knives; with a few more on the way.

I will not deal with minors (below 18years old)... this is a tool and a collectible for some; not a toy that you should flip out to show how much of a "man" you are. If you are current or ex-law enforcement (like me), I'll throw in a special something.

Christmas giveaway...

With Christmas coming up in a few days I figured it'd be nice if we have a giveaway just like on the other forums... I don't celebrate but I thought it'd be a nice idea to start one.

Only rules are...

You must be 18 years old and above and you must have at least 3 posts in this thread.

How to win? Simple... Guess how old my cat is in months.

Quote this post and tell me the answer.

Up for grabs...

No box will be provided as I would really like to see this end up as a user. Winner will have to collect it from me directly and I reserve the right to check your age.

Start guessing and remember... only one guess is allowed and you are not allowed to edit your post, so you should make it count. Closest answer gets the knife and if there is a tie the earlier poster wins it.

ETA - This knife has been discontinued for a while and has a book value of $130 based on it's MSRP.

Second prize for second closest guess of my cat's age in months.

A discontinued oldie from Victorinox. Some calls it one of their best ever; at least Nutnfancy thinks so. Nice to look at and very handy to have around no matter if you're a pencil pushing desk jockey or an outdoorsman. A NIB Victorinox farmer in Alox handle. I have the box but same thing as the first one; I expect to see it carried and used.
