c'mon somebody buy my tispine....I have my eye on something that is still available, but is slowly slipping away unless I get the funds quickly in my paypal...haha.

Here's something I read on another forum re Elmax v. S35VN:

elmax is 30 % more abrasion resistance than 35v as well as being a true stainless with perhaps the best elastisity of the 3rd gen powder steels. almost as good as m390 in catra cutting tests. one knifemaker that uses lots of elmax is dale howe. he posts a lot on " 24 hour campfire" goes by mtman or mountain man. certainly there's not anything wrong with 35vn but it's a far cry from being in the league with superclean elmax. dale may be able to help you in finding a better selection in elmax. at 62 rockwell it cuts = to m390 at 61 rockwell.--knifeguy39

i have a hunch that some may be more interested in your Hinderer than your Tispine. Why not try bundle them together to make it more attractive? Just a suggestion

Guys where can I read up on knives possession in SG?

e.g. the laws, limitations etc.

Also, is Sinclair Card Knife legal in SG? IIRC, I saw someone posted about it in EDMW last year.

go to spf.gov.sg for a start. read on licensing requirements - dealers (so you know what is actually being regulated on the dealers' end). read on arms and explosives act. look at scheduled items (ie. prohibited). statutes only state so much. As for internal directives, guidelines, practice notes....you probably need to speak to the SPF and ICA officers.

Good day everyone,

I'm looking for a good quality folding knife. Please PM me if you have any for sale.

Must be unused. Price should be reasonable and lower when comparing with available sources, eg from Knifecenter etc.

Thanks.
That's quite a feat, considering the hassle in bringing in knives from overseas. I wish you luck on your quest.
