Perhaps I remembered wrongly or perhaps was brain-washed by self-protecting local shops.

I personally would frown upon a karambit as it has almost no practical use because it was designed with one purpose which is to hurt people but even so, I would still like to own a fixed blade karambit for display aka shelf-queens :x

I guess email/contacting SPF is best way of getting proper information.
I don't think karambits are banned. There is a local website that is selling both fixed and folding karambits. Not sure if it is appropriate to post links but the website address starts with "urban". I don't think they carry Fox karambits though.

I've see a guy posting public pictures of his Emerson Kerambit folder in Singapore, so I guess folding ones should be ok. Perhaps fixed ones are frowned upon (nothing specifically mentioned in the law though).
Should be frozenboiboi.. I recall he collects swords and mentioned doing test throwing his knives lemme see, ah yes, his kerambit post here.. but pics are gone..

the karambit .... maybe it is generalisation thru hollywood / HK movies...normally bad guys use this... no?
so, the karambit shape give me a feeling of "evil" unilike the more "gentlemanly" bowie or drop point...
no offences intended..just my personal taste

kerambits are designed to be weapons, like a kris/pedang - no utilitarian use. They've been around in Indonesian/Malay/Solo/Moro/Filipino martial history for hundreds of years.

IIRC, there was a published case of a bodyguard/bouncer being convicted of a criminal offence for using/possessing a kerambit (non-folding) in a melee.

I guess you could use them for harvesting vegetables/fruits/mushrooms

The 710 is a smashing knife. Small, well made and very gentlemanly. Have to note that it's pretty sharp (shaving for me) right out of the box. I have one which I did an anodizing job on it. Took the ano really well and didn't fade after more than a month. Some one gotta get a 710 and testify for this. bump for the neat 710!
