tank q boyish looking buttie for the tompang and meetup.
knn i hate meeting edmwers....make moi feel damn old

the 556 feels very comfy in my pocket, hardly felt it. light weight.
thumb stud works for me, heng din get the thumb hole version.
although it is a small knife at under 3", i still think it is too big for edc

disappointment:
the blade does not come as sharp as i expect it to be
and there is a little blade play ...wtf... gona tighten it...
Haha, I'm way past mid 20s near the big 3 liao.. I just happen to be smaller size and hence people always think I'm 20+ only..

And yeah, my full size grip also feels light.. alittle too light that it feels blade heavy.. though haven't play with it yet but also has some blade play..
but the tenacious I got seems very balanced though.. the g10 handle and blade is nice and sharp out of the box! Can shave with it man.. I thinks it my new favorite knife.. if only it were smaller for carrying.. blade has too much surface for cutting makan but should be great for field work.. guess I stick with my subcom and keycom for everyday task..

eh than how you get it?
you called and ask them?
Nope.. i just head straight down to PayaLebar postal centre.. Last few times I ordered and ship my stuff online and I wasn't home to receive the package, they took damn long to redeliver or schedule a collection at my nearest post office.. usually next working day after 4pm or sometimes say package with the postman.. after so many times, I learnt that you just go straight to Paya Lebar with the tracking number or the postal notice and collect.. just need to wait 15-30mins for them to find your package at the sorting centre.. make sure beforehand don't ask for redelivery or to send to another post office and you'll get it on the spot.

For the knife, I went down, ask the postman, then transfer me to ICA.. the people check check abit and can go liao.. chop chop.. was hoping instead to collect at cantonment though cos next to my office nia..

should tighten a bit while its new, so that it will season and sit properly as it wears

if not it will only get worse

Hey Vinn... Which direction is the blade play? Left right play you can remove or minimise by tightening the pivot screw but up down and front back its there for good as that's a QC problem, probably misdrilled blade pivot hole.

Well, I believe it's meant to be a "portable" fixed blade. Considering they are long range recon, they are probably doing more target acquisition and forward lookout post missions. Compromised in the mission and they will run instead of contacting an enemy, hence the need for a portable solution by judging the amount of equipment they have to carry..

Tanto blades are designed to have a strong tip for piercing thick webbing so maybe this blade is for self defense and survival than a typical bayonet.
