Ken Onion Work Sharp? It is essentially a mini belt grinder, but when using it you'd have to be REALLY careful not to take off too much material.

For the KME and Lansky, I'm not too sure if the arms will reach far enough for a big blade like yours. Spyderco Sharpmaker will be too small.

Free handing is also an option, but I guess you are looking for those kind of fixed angle sharpeners.
Thanks for the suggestions. I have since found the instructions for lansky and it does support sharpening for bigger blades using a 2 step process. Will look into the work sharp system too.

relisting some beautiful blades:

1. sold 2. ZT801 flipper (LNIB)

I am asking for USD210 via paypal all in. No trades pls.

3. Big Chris Bolo (used but only minor kydex scratches)

THis is a beast that will serve you well. Forget the zombie nonsense - this is a 12.5" CPM3V blade that is fast and if you're not careful, will take off your leg easily It's the knife above the parang (parang is gone).

I am asking for USD550 via paypal all in. No trades pls.

All prices firm and fair. Deal by this weekend - I can meet you at a central location.

Take both the Bolo and ZT801 and I'll throw in a discount.

Shipping

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know if Daigou ships knives to Singapore? Those GECs are tempting but the $60 shipping cost from KSF is really deterring.

Anyway i apologize for not putting up any pics yet been really busy. If u know how to circumvent the post requirements for including photos pls do tell!

I believe I mentioned somewhere on this thread that they do (I've used their service quite a few times). But such agents are not the best options for limited runs of knives, because they'll be sold out before they place the order. GECs tend to sell pretty quickly upon restock, especially the more popular models.

The original post was asking about 65daigou, not gshipexpress. I have also clarified with the SPF.

If your life is in danger, you should run first. It is never a good idea to take on people with a folding knife.

Even so, a fixed blade or a "Wave" opening knife will be faster than an A/O.

But again, please do not carry your folders with the intention of a "self defense tool". I cannot stress that enough. In the USA, it might be a more viable concept for guys to pair a tactical knife with their CCW.

Here in Singapore, we are really blessed to have safe streets. There is no need to risk it and bring a knife and possibly bring a bad reputation to the knife collecting community in Singapore.
Well said.

and to the original post "difference of 2sec and 5 sec..". Seriously?? There is hardly a difference between an A/O and a flipper and there are indeed flippers that can be faster than an A/O

7.4 inch is somewhere like 18cm, should be okay.

I sent a email to SPF and got this reply, I thought to share it here:
-----

1. Automatic knives, double edge knives are prohibited regardless of their length.
2. Fixed blade knives are permitted. Kukri which blade extending more than 30 cm, need to apply import licence.

With the recent steel upgrade that the Cold Steel knives have gotten, they're really worth it to buy.

I don't own one, but the Code 4 is probably one of the better designs. The aluminum body will not kill your pockets if you intend to clip it on.

Both blades looks fierce. You got your zombie apocalypse covered.

OK guys, I want to move this out by this weekend.

ZT801 at USD200 via paypal all in. you can't get it at this price anywhere else. This is also the second batch - super super smooth flipping action. Blade practically falls down close as well. This is the lowest I'll go and I'm eating a loss already.

The Big Chris Bolo I will let go for USD530 via paypal all in. If you commission a CPM3V Bolo at this size with Peters Heat Treat etc. you will find that it will cost you a lot more, and that's not including shipping etc. And freight forwarders will not ship this type of large chopper either. You'll have to go via USPS which costs a lot more and spend I have more than this invested in this blade. Don't equate CPM3V with spring steel, 10XX series steel, 5160, 52100 etc. As Worcer says, CPM3V is about the best all round chopping steel there is. And it doesn't rust that easily either - just wipe down with oil. It holds its edge way better than the regular carbon steels as well - this is first hand experience.

They are great blades both of them and prices are more than reasonable
