Thinking of getting a leatherman wave... is it any good? i'm not a collector... but i want one of these multitools with me when i go out... can be handy at times

i read that 154CM is superior to 420HC... but leatherman charge al too ex US$40 diff just for 154CM blade and aluminum handles... and most probably i getting from ebay (cheap!)... but idk worth it or not cuz tbh i won't use it that often...

advise pls
if u buy from ebay got no warranty support, and u need to clear customs as it has blades.

Mine... Have had this for a while. Ok, not a Rolex, at the rate I'm getting knives I'm lucky I can still wear a Seiko.

Backlocks aren't the best choice for flicking open.

All lockbacks have a closing bias. At a certain point of closing the spring will want to snap the knife shut. Same reason I got cut the first time. I don't find the micarta particularly hard to clean but it'll yellow if exposed to UV too much. Just how the resin reacts to it I guess. Since it's a pinned knife it is a bit more difficult to clean. WD40, canned air and cuetips works well for me.
