About Window Replacement

hello. i have two lourve window in my bath room. estimate 60cmx30cm. those cannot shut ones.

i wanna change to something that can close completely. looks like sliding and push hung are suitable.

contacted a contractor, he said lourve cannot change to sliding.

but i can change to push hung.

no vendor can give me a quote now.

do i have other option other than push hung? normally how much will such work cost?

anyone have good contact?

Hi,

push hung (or awning) is your only option due to the small size. Awning also shuts more tightly than sliding. Challenging to find a contractor to do only two small windows, as the hacking / making good / installation cost is pretty high in comparison to the window size.

If you have no special requirements when it comes to sound etc just send a picture round to the different suppliers and see who has currently stock and manpower to do it and at what price.

I am more a consultant for bigger projects. My price would be way too expensive :-)
