Hi Terumo guru

my old toshiba air con of 6 years is not blowing any cold air anymore. tried topping gas but was not cold again in less than 1 day. any chance of salavging this system?

At the same time, I go gain city to see see the cost, was recommended Hitachi slightly lesser than 3k for system 3 and Mit starmex slightly more than 3k for system 3.
Are the prices good? I am not very familiar with the market prices.

plus additional 180 for upgrade 1/2 inch arma insulation and 0.71mm copper thickness. Is this upgrade neccessary?

Question

Hi All,

I would like to buy SYSTEM1 for living room and SYSTEM 3 for 3 of my bedrooms. Need to remove the existing old system 3 as well.

Do you have any recommendation which shop provides good service and good deal?

According to HDB "your block has been provided with 40 amperes of electrical loading and you can install up to 2 split type air-con condensing units at the designated air-con ledge"

Thanks thanks

System 3 for 3 bedroom including master bed room and two common bed rooms.

Another system 1 for the living room. As the living room if 5 room hdb is larger, it will require higher btu.

I suppose the usage of aircon in living room will be very minimum. Only need it during special occasion or when the haze hits Singapore again >.<

Aircon in master bedroom may be used only during weekend in the afternoon. Will not be turned on overnight frequently.

So, would like to know where did you guy buy your aircon and do you mind to share with me the contacts?

To Polobear,

Its should be priced as a complete package.
Not equipment & installation fees as 2 parts.

they don't do installation. So the process is I buy the aircon, get the contractor(which they recommend) to collect and install.

Hi all,

I am just a newbie and forgive me if I asked something weird.
3 room hdb flat, master room has single split aircon, which is in good condition.
We want to install air con in common room.
People say I have to change to system 2 or system 3 because 3 room flat cannot use 2 single split types or two narrow to put them, I don't understand much.
We check the price for system 2 , it is 2500 at least which I feel it is bit costly because the requirement is only for a common room.
Any suggestion please. Thank you very much.

To misspeace,

3 room HDB can have one compressor only.

So if u need 2 blower unit, u need to change to a sys 2.

Hi Misspeace,

For old flat HDB cannot install 2 single split because of the power supply,
is because one compressor need to use for one 15amp power point,
if you put two compressor mean you need to supply one more power point,

system 2 price maybe you can try to check with this company >> CT air-con
last time i also bought with them very cheap and good service,
and the salesman name is call KAVES.
i think the price just only around 1900+

Hey guys

My parents want to install a system 3 for our 3 rooms. Im looking at Sharp, I trust the brand and its relatively cheap for some reason.

But Mother told me the Courts salesman informed her that all other brands are made either in Thailand, China or Malaysia. Only LG is made in Korea. Question is, does the country of manufacture matter when it comes to air cons? If it doesnt, which would you guys recommend;

1) Sharp
2) Daikin
3) Mitsubishi

And which shop to purchase from. I heard about the IMM one, are they still as good?
