To derrickgoh,

My personal thinking, as to why those electronic chains promote brands like Fujistu/Mit Hvy Ind, Media etc...
Is cos their selling price is low, Daikin/Toshiba selling price is the highest among all the brands.
Ok so then how do I go about buying a Daikin then if none of the electronic chains sell it? Have to buy from Daikin direct?

To slasml,

This set up for ur 5rm flat?
Yes 5rm flat bro. Would it be under powered?
Read the online cooling, unit using KW, is sufficient.
But if we add up based on BTU, then it is insufficient.

Any thoughts? please enlighten me thank you.

This is quite common setup for 4 to 5 Room flat.

I got mine from All Best.
So the new series is called Zen
Thanks for the contact.

edited : Sadly zen is only for room, they dont have living room in zen model.
Any of you have good contacts? in terms of pricing, workmanship, and warranty.
I have seen the same setup at 3950 dated 2012.
Just curious if prices going up for a model that is due to be replaced.
Quite unusual for price to increase after years though.

Any issues with GC HongLiang AllBest MegaDiscount?

TIA

Seriously less than 3 yrs you mind to change new set again?
Zen has slightly more expansive models, nice definitely to pay more, if take GE model still the best for easy clean.

ME starmex BTU is the most higher, you can't get 38k BTU for any model like it.

To derrickgoh,
U can buy from authorised dealers or any aircon contractor will sell.

To slasml,
24k btu for living is just nice.
38k btu outdoor is good if u on the living + the bedrooms most of the time.
If u use the living room without using the bedrooms @ the same time, then the other sys 4 model Mxy 4a28 will be sufficient for you.
Cos when they try to sell u a bigger btu compressor, the salesman will add up all the fancoil btu to tell u that its a balanced setup which for sys 4, usually the btu for fancoil units will be > the outdoor unit aka compressor.

You meant used like it? This photo was taken for single split on 24k btu & 10k btu for master bedroom & living hall.

Possible right, if stay in condo or EC maybe can install 2 outdoor units just right for suit 5 rooms

Can if your air con ledge has sufficient space. If not can install bracket within your air con ledge

Only available at Allbest? Heard a lot about their bad service and installation. I would rather not take the risk.

Thanks.

Installation was ok for me, service still dunno yet, cause I know how to DIY addition filter and also clean out myself.

For their install seem like quite ok and quite satisfied for the workmanship
