Hi is there any different between ME MSY-GE10VA & MSY-EF10VA? Other than the looks.
GE10VA quite common already the design from 2010 till now, for the EF10VA they called it Zen for flat panel and comes with 3 colors, Black, Silver, White.. mine is white for living room EF12VA model.

But EF model is non easy clean feature already, if you know how to screw out the casing should be no problem like common brands.

also EF come with bigger Remote control for allow you set in daily scheduler and the rest just like normal GE.

Remote here.

The outlook design.

Thanks! What about the filtering? GE got anti-allergy enzyme and catechin plus air purifying system. What about EF? Are those important?

Because I'm allow to change 1unit of GE to EF. So i dunno what the difference...

Not too sure that anti-allergy thing, since day 1 i already pasted with extra filter and the rest never bother it

If you more concern about easy clean and 19dB for quiet mode, i still prefer go with GE10VA model, even my bedroom also using GE model now.

The feature can refer here : https://www.mitsubishi-electric.co.n...x?item=69083BW

I'm looking to buy a System 4 fr Gain City to cool 4 HDB bedrooms (1 room is converted fr study). Considering System 4 from MIT HI n MIT ELE. Both abt same price. Any recommendations or advice?

MIT HI:

SCM80ZJ-S1(31000 Btu) + 3X SRK25ZMA-S(3x9000 Btu) + 1X SRK35ZMA-S(13000 Btu) for $3829.
$150 for steel bracket
$240 for upgraded piping n insulation.
FREE 5 years warranty capped at $1850 claims amount.
ADD $129 to make 5 year Warranty at UNLIMITED claim amount.
Add $580 for 2 year servicing (twice in 1st year, 3 times in 2nd year)
Total $4828.

MIT HI is a newer model with more features like louvres tt go up down n left right, self cleaning function tt dries up moisture (hopefully odour) internally, generates negative ions tt supposedly keeps air fresher n cleaner.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MIT ELE:

MXY-4A28VA7(28000 Btu) + 3x10000 Btu + 1x13000 Btu for $3839.
$150 for steel bracket
$240 for upgraded piping n insulation.
FREE 5 years warranty capped at $1850 claims amount.
ADD $129 to make 5 year Warranty at UNLIMITED claim amount.
Add $580 for 2 year servicing (twice in 1st year, 3 times in 2nd year)
Total $4838.

MIT ELE is 6-7 yr old model whose louvres only go left n right. Its only obvious plus point is tt it's probably quieter.

Are these fair deals? Any discounts or freebies tt I can get fr GC at EXPO fair this SUN?

Tks for replies n comments.
If you were find out in proper from Mit Starmex was higher BTU output.

7.5kw cooling capacity x 3418 = 25,635 BTU for starmex

SCM80ZJ-S1 Air Conditioning Splits Multi outdoor units - RAC

if look at this mhi compressor does have a higher btu output if do the comparison between starmex.

If you wanna more bigger capacity can look for MXY-4A38VA.
38k btu but input watts also much higher

Gurus,

in this case, can i say the correct comparsion for compressor should be SCM100ZJ-S1 vs MXY-4A38VA?

is there any advantages in getting a bigger compressor? if the 3x room blower is based on 9k btu and the hall on 13k btu? if the max intention is to only on 1 hall and 1 room ( 13 + 9k btu) = 22btu?

Then if want to on 2 room and the hall then should got a at least a ( 13+9+9K) = 31 btu compressor?

Let's comes we talks about BTUs.

When starter compressor kick in.. For each room at least needs for enough higher cooling capacity for faster cold down & enegy saving for reduce in part loan.

But system 3 or 4, has to divide each room and sharing BTUs for depends each see wether which room more faster cooling down.

In theory if under power BTU for sure It is does not cold enough.

But after I realise my MXY-3A28VA can achieved the cooling for each room.

In the computer would tell the PCB splits out each room in the low BTU when starting runing will be slower only.

Once temp reached from the pre-set.. Even 50k BTU also useless.. Cause when starter needs more btu to supply each within fews mins to getting cold.. The deffence only less than 15mins slower for each room to getting cold down timing.

To compare my single split.

To ipaq4444,

For ur requirements, 3a28 should be enough as a bedroom requires only 6-7k btu.

Thanks, I recently went down to GC and realized they only selling inverters set air con. One of the brand Toshiba was highlighted as one of the lowers in power consumption. Thoughts?

Toshiba is good also, just the outdoor unit was made in Japan, once got any issue for the parts repair cost much higher than Mit Starmex.

Toshiba, Pana, hitachi, sharp, ME or MHI, Daikin if getting inverter for the power consumption was not too much different.

Anyway went to inverter unit garranty pay cheaper utility bills.

wow my this month utility just less than $100 <

Your online bill for Jan 2015 is now available at http://services.spservices.sg/. You may also view
your utility service usage compared to the average usage of all neighbours and the national average
of HDB 3-Room Flats.

Bill Summary Jan 2015
Your current account balance of $98.65 will be due on 12.02.2015

Usage Comparison
Your Usage All Neighbours National Average
Usage* Usage**
Electricity Usage 246 kWh 261 kWh 299 kWh
Water Usage 13.9 Cu M 14.0 Cu M 14.6 Cu M
* All Neighbours Usage refers to the average utility service usage of HDB 3-Room Flats within your block.
** National Average Usage refers to the average utility service usage of HDB 3-Room Flats in Singapore.

I got system 3 (2x 1hp) inverter switch on at least more than 8hrs + 1.5hp for living room every night turn on from 7pm to 11pm (except weekend sat & sun in JB)

Got Electrolux heat pump 9kg usage weekday n daily for 30mins per cycle dry, also the home appliances, such as washer samsung WW8000 and Pana NR-BY602XS and Storage tank Ariston heater 25L for each time switch on when taken bath, Pana Thermo pot for 24hours.
http://www.panasonic.com/my/consumer/kitch...h30_40p.htmlnot that bad..

But make sure your house has to install all LEDs lights, that's really much saving.
