FD10VA no longer available, for me is better cause comes with plasma filter.

Against GE10VA more quiet as low as 19db only.

The rest all same

Toshiba aircon system 4

Hi,

Did anyone install toshiba system 4, Model RASM268ACV, 4xRAS-M10SKCV. Did u encounter your compressor having a knocking sound which is quite loud during the night when it quiet. I have called up carrier to complaint and was told this is system design. Only system 4 and 5 affected. I only install 3 month ago and the sound detected since day 1.

Question Query on the following Mitsubishi Electric Models

Dear fellow forum buddies,

I have a query on the following models:

1) MXY-3G28VA
2) MXY-4G38VA

So far i am only seeing MXY3A28, etc. Anyone can shed some light onto this?

3) After a quick glance at the earlier threads, i will like to check if there's any advice for the following piping specs:

1/2" Armaflex Class 1 Insulation
Swg 23 Copper Pipe Psb Tested
5 Year Compressor Warranty By Agent
1 Year Parts Warranty By Agent
1 Year Workmanship Warranty
16mm drainage pipe
Condenser Sit on Aircon Ledge

4) I also notice articles talking abt high standby power consumed by Starmex, is this still happening?

Many thanks in advance for any advice that you can share no matter how big or small.

Cheers,

Jeremy

How much they quote you on this 2 latest power saving machines?

I guess both are higher than 4 ticks at least.

1) MXY-3G28VA
2) MXY-4G38VA

Thanks

Mine is a system 4 toshiba one. Din heard any knocking sound from the compressor. One fault with toshiba which i dont like is when i want to off the blower using remote control. I need to press the "off" button 3 times i think. Troublesome.

The "off" on the remote is not straight away off the blower.

1) MXY-3G28VA - power.comsumption @7.2kw at optimal capacity
2) MXY-4G38VA - power comsumption @8kw at optimal capacity.
the cooling capacity is of cos much different but for AC ledge in some hdb, some either
1) too small to take 38VA
2) old flat with require stainless steel bracket- unable to take 38VA. Too heavy for safety regulation.

due to new regulation, now Mit SM both cannot hit 4 tick of power saving. Only certain model from Fujitsu n LG got 4 tick accreditation.

Hi Gentoro,

Thanks for the feedback. Can you share which Fujitsu or LG models if you happen to know. Do they have high standby power consumption like Mit?

Can i get your opinion / advice on recommended inverter aircon model and what to look out for?

Cheers,

Jeremy
