If my BTO comes with a 20A AC isolator and I want to install 2 condenser. 2 questions for all the experts here,

1. Can I stack them with a stainless steel bracket on my air-con ledge
2. Can I pull out one more power point from the current one for the 2 condenser? Total Amp for 2 condenser is about 15A.

Another question is which 3+1 is better? Going with Mit ME
Most of the time only on MBR aircon at night... 2nd br is a walk-in wardrobe so rarely on also

First:
System 3: MXY-3A28VA / 2 X MSY-GE10VA / MSY-GE24VA
System 1: MUY-GE13VA / MSY-GE13VA (mbr)

Second:
System 3: MXY-3A28VA/ 3 X MSY-GE10VA
System 1: MUY-GE24VA / MSY-GE24VA

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Why not consider for ME sys 4 4A38?

Just turn on current limitation will do.

10x 2 + 13 + 24 not an issue for when turns on at same time

Thanks, but somehow the price is higher than 3+1 and also if 90% of the time i only on one fc, will it be inefficient to use such a big condenser?

Did you try Coolserve website? They have almost all the brands with the energy ratings(price not the cheapest though)

With the new energy rating, dont think there's any 5 stars unit. Max i think is 4

Air-con problem

Hi guys!

would appreciate if any kind soul can let me know what's wrong with my air-con unit? I've uploaded a video of my air-con malfunctioning...

Note that I didn't press the remote at all while video-ing...it was all by itself...

To martinweng,

Blinking light means malfunction of some parts.
Is it just one unit blinking or all the fancoils are also blinking?

Run in testing of aircon after installation?

Hi fellow forum buddies,

Am curious if any of you did a run in test of your aircon after installation. Like turn on for 3 full days, etc..

Please share any recommended practices to test aircon if applicable.

Cheers,

Jeremy

had an installation by gain city 1 mth ago. rainwater will seep in from the condenser unit thru the gaps between the pipes. the technician came twice to add silicon but i doubt it will work as the pipes goes up to the connector where it is much higher. hence water will still flow down due to gravity. anyone faced this problem before ?

can anyone advise me regarding portable aircon? i got one from gain city few years back and its not cold anymore. i have extended warranty and gain city got their servicing guys to come down a couple of times. they just clean and vacuum the inside but its still not cold and they refuse to acknowledge any problem. they just say their job is only to ensure its working, if its gas or whatever problem its not covered in the warranty. if i want to do servicing its either i find people outside to do or pay to use theirs. what do i do?

Hi All,
I need yr recommendations if you have experience with a good aircon installer.

Doesn't need to be the cheapest as I don't want them using cheaper matl's and suffer leaks and tearing up the conduits again.

From the several threads, I can say:
1) Newway Systems
2)
3)

Appreciate all feedbacks. Cheers!
