To weiiix,

Your living requires around 12k btu, 18k will be slightly oversized and more comfortable.
For your 2 bedrooms combined into 1, i will suggest a 18k btu unit instead of 2 9k btu.
Having a higher btu unit doesn't necessarily mean it will consume higher amount of energy.

Hello i was wondering if this quotation price is it worth it?

Im installing a 4 system all of it for Rooms only

Mitsubishi Electric:
MXY-4A28VA / 4 X MSY-GE10VA (System 4)
Fan coil capacity : 4 x 8,530 Btu/hr
All on capacity : 4 x 6,397 Btu/hr
$3,745.00

with 3/8” insulation, copper pipe gauge 23 and 16mm PVC drainage piping

and from what i read people say HDB 3/8 its more den enuff right? then the all capacity it says 4 x 6,397 Btu/hr meaning 6379*4 =25588 meaning my compressor btu so litle?
Cause the current limitation was lock at 8.5A only, just nego with the contractor and open to maximum input watts then you may enjoy more cooling capacity wow..

I knew some area may not allow to used maximum input watts just check it out..

If someone has done for 2 condenser outdoor then the chance was higher too.

System 1

Hi all,

Newbie here looking for some advice here, I am thinking of installing a system 1 just for my room (not master bedroom), how much does it roughly cost?

I am thinking of going for ME or Daikin, is it advise to go for single split inverter unit? Usage wise would be about 8 hours daily.

Any recommendations on who I should get from? And lastly anything I should take note of in particular? Many thanks for your help.

This unit has been serve in markets around 7 yrs now

ME fan coil GE model still the best in market so far, cold n quiet also can turn very strong wind to blow out the whole room.

Daikin or ME Starmex both are good.

Just depend which look and function you prefer.
Daikin got eye motion function for saving energy.

ME got easy clean access, if wanna clean out by self then go ME is more worth it.

If just consider for single split then get ME you never went wrong. The air and cooling you will sastifed, cause cold and quite at all

Hi Brothers and sister,

I am looking at Mitsubishi Heavy Industry and Mitsubishi Starmex from my new flat.

And feedback regarding these 2 models?
Go with Starmex but stay away from MHI, aircon products they all have some problems at some point of time but MHI suppport is really really poor. Be warned.

To be honest MHI don't have a proper official website for each country, also don't have thier officially team support too.

Unlike ME.

It depends on the agent. For this brand, Wong Kee Hong is the agent and they are quite horrible.
