Living 18k is sufficient, unless kitchen is open concept, then 24k.
All bedrooms, 9k should be sufficient.

Hi Terumo

I am thinking or replacing my 16 year old fujitsu system 5 which is on its last legs.

I currently stay in a HDB 5 rm flat. Is it possible to install 2 sets of system 3? Need to have an aircon in the kitchen as well haha. Gets super hot in the afternoons. the rest will be for the 3 bedrooms and living / dining (which is L shaped).

Also, any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

You can check if the loading has been upgraded before a not.
If yes, can apply to HDB for second compressor.
If no, then have to get a system 5 instead.

Mind to share your experiences with them so far? As well as any feedback on their installation and services. Thanks!

ok yesterday was too shag to do the review.

ordered this from Cold Engine...

Daikin inverter system 3 - $2850 (3 ticks)
3MKS71FSG/FTKS25DVMx 3

Waited about nearly a month for them to come to install. It's worth the wait cos of their workmanship.

The installers came at 10am as promised, worked till about 6pm...

they are very friendly and they know their product well when asked about it.

they removed the old systems then install the new pipings with a larger trunking...then install the new one

These are the new trunkings laid

after they finished the installation, they did touch up and patch back the holes in the wall then they sweep and clean up the drill dust and debris, push back my beds and furnitures for me.

Overall, i find their service is way better than i have seen so far. cos other company usually rush to finish so that end work early.... but for ColdEngine, they take their time to do job which i find is good.

Thanks for those who recommended Cold Engine.

Looking for Air Con solution for my resale flat. No air con installed at all, 5room with open kitchen concept.

ID recommended 3 x 9k BTU for bed rooms and 1 x 24k BTU for living. She suggested going with a 28k BTU compressor, or upgrading to a 38k BTU compressor.

Any thoughts?

Just worried that if i turn on all 3 rooms at the same time, thats 27k BTU, will the 28k BTU compressor be able to take it?

Thanks for the review bro, gives me more confidence to engage them! Did they use a single insulation for each single copper pipe?

For an old apartment, the internal pipes are about 8 years old already. Is it advisable to change them? Or flush and reuse them?
