hi, any experts here got any idea why my aircon stops cooling the room every 15 minutes for 2 minutes when only one indoor unit is on?

when i turn on 2 units in the house, the fan in the outdoor unit will consistently work but when only one of the units in the house is on, the problem starts in that the unit auto-restarts every 15-20 minute.

i wonder if its an electrical problem or a problem with the motor. tried asking my usual air con guy but the guy seems as stumped as i am, and others who i ask, never seem to have come across this problem before.

Just to share re BTU advertised by manufacturers and those stated by NEA.

Spoke to Mitsubishi Electric engineer today regarding the difference.
From what I understand Mitsubishi Electric would limit it to what they deem as sufficient for HDB use. Hence at default, it is not allowed to run at its full capacity by limiting the power. Therefore when NEA tests the machines, they are at the default limits.

If you feel that it is not sufficiently cold, you can call on Mitsubishi Electric to go over to turn off the limit. I was informed there won't be any charges.

hi!

yes, only when one unit is on, any of the unit.

1 indoor unit = problem..the outdoor unit's fan will stop turning every 15-20 min making that particular indoor unit not cold for at least 2 minutes. then the fan auto starts again, then cools the room. 15 min later, the same cycle happens.

2 indoor unit together = no problem.

Toshiba inverter system 3

1 x RAS3M20SACV outdoor unit

2 x RASM10SKCV indoor unit for 2 rooms

1 x RASM16SKCV indoor unit for living room

is the above setup recommended for a 3 room flat? the indoor unit for living room is it abit overkill?? will it incurrs more cost?

system 2?
not sure why there are ppl say Mitsubishi no good but to me it is good.
I think the blowers more or less the same ba... maybe compare how quiet lor
But for sure the compressor is much quieter than most if not all other brands cos I did the comparison at Gaincity... switch on one by one and listen ....

perhaps my concern of compressor noise level only applicable to those live in older flat where the compressor is HANG directly outside the master room. The gaincity guy who install even put pieces of rubber at the edges to to dampen vibration noise. So I get a very quiet system

that was 3+ yrs ago... now still going strong though not as quiet, if I listen very closely and being picky, but I think my neighbours compressors are still louder

looking forward to change to the inverter model 5 yrs later

need some help here.....

currently this is my ACMV plan and my actual house plan...

is it possible to mount it this manner/way?

meaning the walls in between both rooms n store room have to drill holes to let the pipes/trunking pass thru....
