Does all the 小米 AP (from 2s and newer) have the ability to monitor localised air quality (& not poll online sources) & throttle up & down their activity to respond to deteriorating conditions?
Anybody knows? Btw, do the Xiaomi ap series offer the ability to store and schedule and run completely offline (no wifi connection after initial setup)?

If suddenly lost connection and unable to detect during setup again despite reset many times 2.4Ghz wifi, region set China... try downgrade to older MiHome version. If still cannot, maybe can try the method below. Not sure if it works.

Alternatively, last resort is to use mobile hotspot instead of usual home wifi to setup, to at least able to get back the control, set fan speed... (use two phones. 1st phone mobile hotspot to 2nd phone. 2nd phone do the setup. This method usually works, able to detect despite all other methods failed to detect the AP from home 2.4Ghz wifi during setup).

Edit: Steps as below

Hello 4 days ago i just bought a xiaomi air purifier pro. But weird thing is that the psi showing is just 001. Even when i open door and place it right infront of the door. Max it goes is til 10 and back to 001 again. Is it normal?

I think the air purifier has region. I tried connecting to Singapore region but the psi and pm readings shows as dash line. However connecting to mainland China all the readings can see. Only thing annoying is the message pop up from the store.

Vivocity measured at about half of external levels.

Changi Airport (not sure which terminal), some bro measured to be slightly between 1/3rd and 1/2 of external.

Just changed new filter I bought since few years ago.

For Samsung AX40

But it reduced the airflow & also producing some plasticky smell since last night...

Will tio plastic poisoning in the end? I have kids at home... sigh...

Ok. Able to use it and set up via hot-spot... So I guess it is the app problem to connect to the router.

What prompted you to change the filter?

I am using Samsung ax041. When I turn on the purifier, there is power on but it keep blinking at the auto button. The manual say bring to service centre. Any bros know what could be the likely problem? Bought in 2014, think this model obsolete already
