Thumbs up

Didnít have AP3. The usual setup procedure should be the same. Connect via 2.4Ghz wireless. Region set to China.

If all the above still does not work, last resort is to use two phones. One mobile hotspot to the other and use the other to setup.
In case you missed my previous post, I donít have Gen3. Only Pro. But methods of setup connection as far as I know, is still the same.
Spoiler!

Maybe can check with others having Gen3.
Spoiler!

Iím using Singtel. Not on VPN.
Just wish to report back, Iíve finally managed to get my AP3 registered to my MiHome app!

Donít need to use non-M1 connection
Donít have to use VPN
Donít have to use a separate cellphone to act as a hotspot
Donít need to use Android phone, i.e. can use the latest app version on iOS.

The one thing thatís tripping me up was...not turning on Location Services when using the MiHome app. Once I turn on the Location Services, the MiHome app kicked me out once. I re-logoned & everything is smoothly-sailing!

& gosh, that amount of scripting is exactly what I bought it for,

Note: I still have the region set to Mainland China in the app, & still have to be 2.4GHz network.

Guys,

Just to check if anyone have heard about the free air purifier that some company is giving out (Worth $699). Only thing that must pay is the filter that is $168. Saw quite a few ppl posted on Facebook.

Just want to know if anyone have used it or apply for it? Wanna find out more whether how true and good is it.

I'd guess its the same principal of buying Printer for free and pay for Printer Ink .

Technically Airpurifier to its basic function is just a fan designed to give a certain airflow, while the actual purifying function is pushing through the air through the filter. So you see if its worth paying for the filters in the long run lor.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Coz comparing to the other filters out in the market, it seems to be more expensive then the rest. That's y i have my doubt if the filter is really that ex.

Just bought a Xiaomi Purifier with the basic filter. Anyone got any recommendations for the filters for eczema sufferers?

Not sure if it's true. Get the purple filter, supposed to be the enhanced version. The purple version is slightly more expensive

To a certain extend bah. But I wouldn’t want to switch on the purifier during cooking, with all the grease and smell. Very soon you probably would need to change the filter.

Personally I think open the windows is more practical and effective.

Just my own personal opinion.

Maybe i should go try princess also. Currently using MRC and Comnbuy, but for my more special stuff.

Alternatively can also go via sea small parcel. I calculated, even full volumetric for 6kg can get you 13pcs of the 300 x 300 x 25 HEPAs.
For SGD 15 shipping.

Only thing is that it is slow, but if local last mile is good, is very safe and reliable.
So u gonna chope all 13 pcs for your samsung?

The filters can also be used in my old Novita air purifier (can't remember the model but it's a basic one. And also the big LG PSR-459.

This year I gave 1pc of the 300x300x25mm to my cousin to use in her small LG, coz the filter smelling really bad after non use + storage in the store room.

Hi all,

My order of HEPA filters got mixed up during the 11/11 madness. I received the wrong orders and it doesnt make economical sense for me to ship them back to China. I am happy to let them at cost if anyone is interested.

I have the following:
1x Blueair 203
1x Blueair 403
1x Blueair 503 set (3 filters)
3x 520mm x 423mm x 20mm (not sure what model these are for?)
