Actually not necessary. Some will discolor after some time.

i think this one up to you the individual because your question is purely based on aesthetic taste. for me, a brown backsplash with brown cabinets don't look to good. but if you think it's nice then nice

Back splash has some yellow discoloration.

white one will will appear greenish

white has many types, the premium white has a pigment to cancel out the green.

as for the pic, no i dont think the backsplash matches. then again its quite hard to find a glass one that matches. another option would be to use kompacplus as a backsplash. the woodgrain is quite nice.

my kitchen :



im using the normal white glass which is basically green and i dont think it matches too. regret not using grey or black.

believe it or not, laminate! this is lamitak's marmo classico. i think abit unconventional since most people would just go for quartz or whatever. but this is really cheap & good. i do heavy cooking everyday and theres nary a stain. just have to be abit more diligent abt wiping up spills & dont put hot things on it lol.
