Bros.. bought a light bulb from IKEA and the light holder.. but I realized it says max 22W in the light holder but my bulb is 40w.. will it burst in the long run?

Cannot la.. it's MAX 22W for good reasons.. you use 40W bulb, though brighter .. might overheat and kill the thing..

Your lightbulb is only 4.5W dude... it's roughly equivalent to a 40W incandescent...

RYET is 4.5W, is ok for the socket. The 40W printing on box is miss leading, what it want to tell is light density equivalent to 40W normal type of bulb.

LED power rating is only 4.5 W, itís written clearly. 45 W is the incandescent equivalent, so the socket 22W is more than sufficient to handle the power rating from LED.

Don't laugh at people lah. I also formed the same opinion when I first saw the box.

Yap, this is Ikea problem by printing the actual wattage so small.
