Hi guys, i’ve recently repainted my wall into a dark grey colour, however, it started to have white patches appearing. I’ve read stuff online about effloresence and all, but i’m really not sure what’s going on. I’m able to wipe off the patches but it comes back within a day or two, not only that, it’s getting bigger and is appearing on other parts of the wall as well!

My ID said that its the wall problem, that they’ve already painted the a sealer but the problem still persists. He suggested to repaint to a lighter colour instead. I would like to tackle the source of the problem if any of you have any idea on what it is.
