anyone installed the 70inch fan in 2.5m height hall area? like the K18NY-RBR or the F-M18LYVBKRH/VBKSH?

I am thinking of getting this for my hall. Heard there are 3 PCB board for this. When it spoils, we might have issue.

The motor capacitor is starting to degrade and lose its capacitance. Change out that capacitor on the PCB and it will be quiet again, it's an electrical noise not mechanical.
Your expertise is always appreciated

It's a three speed... which one would be the motor capacitor? To be honest I cannot tell by ear which of the many capacitors is buzzing. They're all vibrating to the touch though

It looks a lot like this one:

but I have remote response and the speed seems OK...

Motor cap is the big brown one, 1.6uF. But best to replace both the black and brown together as per the video

well it looks like getting a 1.6uF exactly is nigh impossible

would you pick 1.5uF (lower torque?) or 1.8uF?

For the black thingum, the exact Panasonic ECQ-U2A824ML is available off element14 for a couple of dollars...

The 1.8uF looks like an Aliexpress buy though, can't find one on RS or e14: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/CBB6...800601471.html

Or should I just go to Sim Lim Tower and poke around
