Erm, keep in the storeroom. Just in case you'll need to replace a tile or 2.

You can basically keep any amount you want and anywhere you want. What kind of question is that?

as coasters?

how big are your table and cups?

i have a boxes of unopened 60x60 tiles and other smaller sizes
taking up a lot of spaces
also very heavy to move around and dusty
thinking of stack up to use as fridge or washing machine base but not stable and size also not right size
ideally how many to keep as space?
thinking 2 pieces per type?
