just a choice bros who is on budget. You can get new at about $70-80 if you import it yourself.

Coming from an AE5 user. Just bought this for my secondary workstation

I wonder anyone use a pair of Devialet's Phantom Reactor 900 or the Gold Phantom how is it compare to a normal hifi with amp......heard the Devialet if you change the power cable it won't make much of a difference in sound compare to a normal hifi is one system that's it.... no need to swap cables and add additional dac to enhance....bad is it doesn't have a RCA input or Aux in all using DLNA the best sound than bluetooth and airplay still need to get devialet dialog for stable stereo add up a lot of money.....

I recently got the Edifier R1850DB too, really not bad. I am also thinking of getting a subwoofer to play with. Saw that there's a Wharfedale WH-SE8 for $199. And Edifier T5 going to release soon? Not sure which will be better.
You might want to consider to get the T5 now at a real dirt-cheap price.
Just announced on edifier sg fb page

the akimate is powered speaker right?

i've never heard of using amp to power active speakers. i think it MIGHT be possible.

so you're saying you want something that will work with the cans AND powered speakers?
