Av receiver recommendation

My denon x3000 last me 5 years and broke down. Can someone recommend me? Don't need network or Spotify capabilities. Simple will do. Was looking at denon x550bt but I was told that it's a huge downgrade and not recommended. Mine setup is 5.1 and budget is about 400 to 700 range.

U know the latest denon avr x3600 (9ch driven/11 processing) with alot of good reviews online is only around $980 cash at KEC Adelphi.

It's not just about features. U save abit of money but u will sacrifice power which affects sound quality also.

I have this receiver even though I only have 5.1 speakers. It makes my speakers sound much faster and more detailed. Plus it has XT32 room correction same as higher end models and Marantz models. Changes everything.

Also consider keeping your new av receiver cool with a cooling fan to make it last longer.

You're sure it's not your hearing going....
Caps in modern amps usually last a decade or more..

I also used to think volume need to go higher sometimes! I anyhow imagine it may be because of instability of power supply and avr heat. Sometimes I think it's just streaming sources like Netflix or Spotify that is inconsistent. Heheh. I now use belkin surge protector and ac infinity cooling fan. Could be psychological but I feel better heheh.

Would denon x1600 fits your budget?

Since you are in the market changing it, should go for the latest protocols to last you the next 5 years and beyond :-)

Haha u right. I see your point. But I still think the x3600h is best value compared to x1600 or x2600.
