Can. Via the RCA and you have some kind of XLR converter.

Means now you get the full power of the speakers because it has a dedicated amp inside it. So your receiver doesn't have to do much work but pass audio through the RCA channel to that XLR port via this RCA to XLR converter cable.

But if the electronics in the Active speaker fail, your whole speaker will be gone.

Vs, if you have everything separated, like having a passive speaker, then you only need to change whichever component fail. Be it the receiver, or amplifier or that 1 speaker. Instead of throwing an entire active speaker and now thinking if you should invest in an external amplifier with a passive speaker to begin with. I don't like that risk.

Well i see wwenze's point because of the stupendous performance to cost ratio of Neumann KH80. Plus I already have the denon x3600h so dont have to spend more there. Maybe I can just buy one Neumann kh80 piece and use as center speaker to try first. Wwenze do u think it will work well as center speaker for distance to MLP at up to 2m?

Sorry for the silly questions. Max SPL at 1m tells me how loud it can play so that also should tell me if I can use it at 2m I guess heheh

Plus the fun of playing with pro studio active speaker makes this much better value than another boring passive speaker.

Maybe Challenger, Courts, BD, HN and especially Adelphi might have a cable like this. The one you posted, will take 1 entire month to deliver. No thanks.

Anyway, please have a look at the manual for the Neumann. It also accepts the bigger version of the 3.5mm jacks meant for microphones and all.

You can refer to it in page 7 of the manual on the many ways that you can connect to the speaker.

Anyway, I recommend you go search up rca to XLR on Carousell. Some are from Audio shops there. So you'll get quality rca to XLR cable for cheap too.
Or now, you can even look for rca to Analog (Jack). Their input can accept either XLR or Analog (Jack)

Edit: Yes, shops like Infinite Cables on Lazada is fine too. They are the same ones that are also available on Carousell.
