Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar

Guys, is it worth to buy this sound bar @ $1099 now? Or the Sony HT-Z9F @ $1049 a better option?

I was considering Bose Soundtouch 300 as well, but the price of the complete set i.e. with woofer and rear speakers was $2200+, as compared with the Sony Z9F (incl'g woofer) with rear speakers Z9R total about $1300. In the end, chose the sony cos' the price gap is quite big. I'm happy with the Sony so far. Why not go try both of them to compare?

Have you tried both of them in the showroom? Which one is better? Yes you are right the complete set of Bose is @2448 and Sony is $1300.

Wanted to try both, but after trying Sony at Nex, decided to go for it as it meets my needs (wanted the surround enveloping effect) and the Sony promotion was attractive. Didn't try Bose after that cos the price difference is just too wide.

Before this, I had tried Yamaha YSP-2700 at Audio House. After trying that, I decided that I need a soundbar with rear speakers to get the effect that I want. The other nice sounding set I've tried is Samsung K950, but it is an old model and there are feedback of problems with this set. If you can wait, the new replacement model is coming out soon. It should be worth considering.

Go listen for yourself.

Not worth to get Bose as pricing, lack information of watts DBS wooder. Totally not worthless and meaningless.

I have the Bose ST300. I like the sound profile vs a lot of the other soundbars I've heard, even without the Bass module.
Other soundbars are more muddy, esp at low volume. Admittedly, ST300 is lacking in terms of bass but the option to add more modules is a bonus (or cost!).

I also have LifeStyle 650 and ST30.
really 650 > 300 > 30.

So do you recommend to buy ST300? Lifestyle 650 is way out of budget!

Yes, I like it - esp for its sound profile. Using it for a mixture of music, spotify and TV. Not regrets for with this purchase.
I also use the SoundTouch app to play music around the house. Not 100% bug free but still works well enough.

Suggest you audition it first.
