My thoughts on the matter:

Check:
- budget
- battery life
- functions
- sound

Nice speakers Pete. It is indeed a pretty speaker fit for a designer home but wonder what's the retail price and how it compares to similarly priced 360deg speakers

It's around S$499 online..
Well it's hard to compare as you have to own a lot of them..
But I'll be reviewing more products in due course. I own a few BT speakers... about 20 or so at least count

After starting with chromecast audio with my denon mini hifi and then getting av receiver with wifi and spotify connect, I prefer wifi connection over bluetooth.
With wifi you won't have dropped signals and calls/msgs won't interrupt the music.

Haha....nice, for a while was very into bluetooth speakers too. Crowned the Miniso D-83B as low end king (cheapest with still good quality sound):
