my experience from being a popsical subscriber + android tv + my own amp($200) + cheap wireless mic (foc with amp purchase) + sm58 ($100? cant rembr):

pros
1. easy to use
2. app support
3. local support
4. songs db are relatively up-to-date
5. cloud access means u don't have to constantly update a local song database
6. songs currently not available can be requested, tho no promises that it will always be made available but at least there is an avenue for song requests

cons:
1. quality of songs is hit-and-miss. some are professionally edited to remove vocals, some are just some muffled background noises which are not even in-sync with the lyrics. these can be few-and-far in between, depending on what song genre u usually sing
2. some features can be improved, like a personalised / fav song list or smth. maybe there already is, but i just cant seem to find it

for $9.9/mth i think its not too bad, but i'm always exploring to see what better options are available. hope this helps those who are on the fence.

i see alot people who are posting here asking for help on how to setup and wire up your systems. everyone has your own unique k and amp systems, those who need help with wiring your systems, do take the initiative to post more pics(ie. the back connector panel), share details like amp model number or link to website with the specifications, and see how the community here can help. where i have the time aside from caretaking my 2 kids, perhaps i can help out here too.

Can get the moment soundbar bundle that comes with 2 wireless microphone and a popsical for $749. More than enough for karaoke sessions.

It is much easier to use Karaoke apps on the mobile phone.

I bought a wired Ugreen microphone cum mixer at RMB199 and it works with apps like WeSing very well.

It has 3.5mm input connection to phone and 3.5mm output to monitor headphone.

【绿联麦克风手机迷你小型收音话筒电容麦声卡户外家用网红直播专用设备录音唱歌降噪适用于苹果安卓全民k歌APP】

It can be used with TV box as well but then the microphone can not be recognized, so only acts like a mixer, not so useful.

TV box audio out -- Ugreen phone input

Ugreen headphone output -- speaker with built-in amplifier.

【奇声智能语音家庭KTV音响套装全套家用网络点歌机一体机点唱机卡拉ok点歌台K歌盒子设备视易多唱系统K米评分】

This one seems to be a cheap all in one solution from QiSheng.

Karaoke machine点歌机 H6 with built-in Duochang app (多唱), looks like an Android TV box. Using K米 mobile app to control. RMB 399 or S$80 standalone.

Microphone x2

Speaker x2 with different versions.

Full set up from RMB1098 (S$220) to RMB1598 (S$320).

I have paid for VIP of Duochang TV version and it is pretty good, with lots of Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien songs.

Those machines from EVideo 星网视易 (Duochang app and Karaoke machine vendor) seem to be much more expensive as they have HDD support and seem to have life time subscription to Duochang.

Karaoke Source
Popsical remix ($499)

Speaker choices (connect via 3.5mm or Bluetooth)
Korg Konnect ($479) <- center cancel
JBL partybox ($459) <- one free mic, inbuilt battery
Bose S1 Pro ($799) <- inbuilt battery, multi position

Mics
Cheap AliExpress Fifine wireless mic ($30-40)

Simple setup with sound quality that will blow away most all in one bundles.

JBL Partybox 100 (S$459) seems to be a convenient solution (they also have more powerful Partybox 200 and 300). New models like the Partybox On The Go and Partybox 310 have just come out.

Which FiFine Wireless Mic are you using? K036 seems to be the model for Karaoke.

Or FiFine FW350 at RMB179?

This article seems to be a good summary for those who can read Chinese.

Replace the Karaoke machine with Popsical if you prefer local support.

Budget list from S$200 to S$8000.

The partybox 100 is really good value for money. The LED light show alone is worth the price From youtube reviews the 100 is even better in some ways to the 300. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxj71FCSg5Y

Bose, if u are particular about vocals -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDlfoE8tOxI

I bought the basic Fifine K025 for testing out -
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/449...6459344fC0l2Of
Verdict: Good build and sound quality for the price, and does not look tacky.

The additional karaoke mixer from K036 is not as essential, because any of the speaker choices above have build in mixer and reverb control (echo).

JBL KTV 350 (Karaoke Soundbar with Subwoofer and two Microphones) seems to be pretty new. But looks like only available in China.

Hello all I have just purchased a popsical today and I realise the popsical mics doesn't work with my sony soundbar HT-X9000F even though I connected my soundbar to the popsical using bluetooth. I have also noticed that my soundbar does not have the aux-rca port. When I look at the user guide provided in their online manual, it appears to say that an aux 3.5mm cable could solve this by connecting the popsical to my soundbar using this cable instead of the aux-rca cable. Is it correct? Many thanks.

The included mics won't work over bluetooth. Use a 3.5mm cable to connect the Popsical to the HT-X9000F (analog in).

The recommended speaker choices from Kazzi fit your bill. Review of JBL Party Box 100 seems to be good.
