Plex server problem on NAS

Hope someone can help on this:
I have plex server installed on laptop and linked to folders in NAS without issue, can see all the files. But recently I installed another plex server directly on NAS (synology 918+) itself and linked the same folders but this NAS plex server canít see any of the files in the folders but laptop plex server can, what is the problem here?

not an expert, but try using plex in docker and make sure all the folders 'linked' up correctly?
