hi, i would like to get a internet tv box for my room & would like to know what's the basic requirements in terms of internet speed?

my room (old hdb) does not have the wall port for tv. & although now digital tv no need the port anymore, i dont want to waste money to buy the antenna as we dont watch much of local tv. mostly chinese/hk shows & soccer.. so makes more sense to buy internet tv box right?

problem is with my hse internet connection, i am no pro but the last time we got someone to settle this problem for us, he had the router changed & suddenly we had two wifi networks: 1) xxx_5g 2) xxx

the 5g one cannot be used upstairs as signal is too weak (i live in an EM). we have an extender upstairs & the xxx one has strong signal upstairs, but not sure if it is strong enough - am afraid that it'll be too weak to stream the internet tv box..

help anyone!?

Get a wifi mesh, like google wifi, netgear orbi, etc. I had wifi connection issues before and using netgear orbi solved it. Go the internet section and read up.

hi, sorry we already spent a few hundreds getting the router changed just few mths back, dont intend to spend anymore as we will be moving into our new place soon anyway the wifi is pretty stable, at least stable enough for husb to play his fifa. so am just wondering if that's enough for the internet tv box to stream..

go to settings, look for factory reset option and execute it.

if still cannot work after reset, connect your wifi using WPS, instead of using password.

Weeks back my ubox gen 3 suddenly cannot detect wifi, when finally connected the speed is very slow. Test all okay except the box. Anyone knows why?
