If you find it frustrating with UB, you will probably be worse off with a clean standalone android box, search for your own apps.

I think after the Eurocup then see if it's still working, normally boxes go dead during this period.

UBTV comes with many working channels, should be sufficient for most people.

watching euro should not be a big problem, there are many other free apps providing good HD streaming of euro 2016

e.g
go to http://hdkan.com/ and download the hdkantv app. It has 2 versions, one for handphone and one for TVbox. The users of popular TVapp should find it very familar.

or
tvbox9a, it has 2 special euro channels.

Any similarly priced alternative ?
The alternative is to buy an android box and install apps like Kodi and putting your own add-ons. That will probably require even more tech know-hows or at least good Google-ing skills.

UBTV's advantage is it's all there for you. But you're at the mercy of whether the server is down etc.

There is another box call xiaoqi or small7.

Slightly cheaper than ub box, but hard to find reviews on HWZ.

During the recent pc show, I tested it for a few minutes, randomly click a few channels, all are streaming well. But the test is too short, and too little. Hard to draw conclusion there.

UBTV's live content is really too unpredictable for consumers to rely on it. either picture quality low, lag, and sometimes can't load all together.

i have loaded myiptv on my ubox and can see the clear difference in reliability and picture quality.

Hard to compare :

You need to pay more than $100 a year for myiptv subscription.

Ub box is only $120 for the box + UBTV for life.

I sub through the China website directly, there's a live chat available.

Both are good but iirc China website is cheaper.
