Can I check with UB Tech box users, have any of you manage to download KODI unto the box? This box runs on Android OS so should be able to right? But when I click on the Google Play Store App....it doesn't work at all....Even the You Tube app that comes in the box also dun work.

Any idea on how to fix this? Any advice is much appreciated

u can download kodi apk direct then install inside.
I used an USB, also download all the adds on and put into the usb too then one shot install from zip.

Hi guys, just got the gen 3 box.

UBTV works well except for the "English" channels (944 - 971)

Can't stream those channels and my most impt babytv for my girl is inside there.

Can advise any way to go around this

If you are using lan direct cable in and it lags, there's nothing u can do for UB.
Greg C had included some apps, which you can consider uploading into the box.

Kodi is a must have.

So after I install KODI by this method, then for any new add-ons to kodi I can only do it by this method..meaning copying to usb then to the UB box?

I find this UB tv box not that user friendly unlike other android tv box but the only good thing is the UBTV free live tv

free live tv?? not really, you paid over $100 for the iptv.

I'm using MiBox, which I bought from one of the electronics fair in expo. My mother in law can watch all Chinese channels for free. But need to be able to read chinese la.. Quite easy to use..

Ubox seem to have mac id or ip issues (非授权ip, 请联络客服开通).

They HK support said to fix will need to restart box or router resolve it in the meanwhile while they investigate.
