1 room resale hdbs posted on property guru

I saw a few 1 room resale hdb postings on property guru

Selling price around 165k to 200k.

Anyone here interested to buy such resale hdb?

I call hdb. They told me 1 room hdb is not entitled to any grants and there is no 5 years mop, you can sell it anytime.

But you need to wait 5 years mop than you can rent it out.

I wonder what type of ppl will buy such flats..

You talking about studio units right? Saw propertyguru ads for 7 Telok Blangah Crescent. I think rather ex for remaining lease of 55yrs. And I believe its two rows of units facing each other with corridor in between.

But if no MOP requirement, maybe useful for those looking for temp accommodation. But if old lease, hard to sell later on.

You talking about studio units right? Saw propertyguru ads for 7 Telok Blangah Crescent. I think rather ex for remaining lease of 55yrs. And I believe its two rows of units facing each other with corridor in between.

We use the most expensive unit for 200k divide by 55 years

1 year cost about 4k which is about $300 a month

Still cheaper than renting a room..

We use the most expensive unit for 200k divide by 55 years

1 year cost about 4k which is about $300 a month

Still cheaper than renting a room..
But its more worth to get those newish bto type 2Rm, just MOP, for $250K. But different location. Better quality & design. 3/4 ht LR windows face outside and not corridor etc.

2rm bto need to bid and wait at least 3 years for it to be build..

There are already horrible stories in this forum about how ppl bid 9 times or 14 times than they get the 2 room bto..

Plus minimum 3 years for the bto to be build..

By the time they get to move in to the bto, it is at least 10 years later...

He was referring to resale 2 rm bto that just mop.

2rm bto need to bid and wait at least 3 years for it to be build..

After 5 years mop u can rent out the whole hdb than u move out

2RM just MOP BTO for $250K? Ulu location or 5min walk to MRT?

You buy yourself?

Are you a singapore citizen who is single and above 35 years old?

You got no money to buy a bigger hdb?

Why don't buy bto?
