Agent commission for renewal tenancy agreement

Hi,

Do you continue to pay the agent commission for the subsequent renewal, after 2 years onward?

An agent help to source and secure a tenant, thereafter tenant decided to hv long term agreement with annual renewal. The initial signed agreement stated commission must be pay to agent for renewal. But following renewal, no work is done from agent.

What is your though and your action for the above situation.

I do still pay commission to my agent for renewal as my agent provide management services for the property and help to handle the tenants requests and issues so I do not need to have any contacts with the tenants.
