Sorry, I don’t mean the near parents grant. But rather, the married child priority scheme (mcps).
Flat allocation
First-timer families: Up to 30% of BTO/ SBF units
Second-timer families: Up to 15% of BTO units, up to 3% of SBF unit

Nothing about the grant, just increase balloting chance.

I think @1a2a3a is referring to Married Child Priority Scheme (MCPS). No grant but a higher priority for the balloting.

@1a2a3a Have you checked using the official HDB calculator (not sure if it is up)?
Yep, mcps scheme. Is the hdb calculator the same as the one showing the circle?

LRT as the name suggest is supposed to be light
but now it seems to be for the masses living in the growing punggol/SK estates
Becomes HRT - 'Heavy' Rail Transit

Just noticed got a new Tampines EC coming in 2020... probably ready at the same time as the Tampines bto, 2023-24. So that will be something to also bid for if these next few fail.

Land price $578 psf. Likely selling price after factoring developer’s cost and profit margin, indicative pricing for sale is $1100 psf. A 3 bedder at 1000 square foot would have set the house buyer a $1.1million. (Excluding interest and other incidental expenses)

MSR should should not exceed 30%. If household income is between $12,000 to $14,000, maximum mortgage is likely to hover between $3,600 to $4,200. Over the course of 25 years, total repayment would have only been $1.08 million.

I am thinking why would a couple opt for an Executive Condomium so that they can be a slave to their house probably for their entire lives.

I'm hoping your sales figure to be much lower. Anyway, some of these people applying for HDB are already near the income ceiling and thus have to consider a ec, especially one that is somewhat closer than most ec to a mrt in a mature estate.

Not like they have better choices when HDB is out of reach for them.

Is there any indication of the upcoming BTO projects for the rest of 2019?

I guess it all boils down to supply and demand. If everyone stay away from the development, prices will come down eventually. But Singaporeans being Singaporeans. Living the Singaporean dream!

I have a feeling the BTO will be launched on Feb 19, the day after the budget. Should be timed to coincide with the announcements.

Blur liao. Let put it this way. kallang/Whampoa, both is under 1 project. Those who ballot under this project will be able to choose both kallang and Whampoa when it's their turn to select

Sent from HUAWEI LYA-L29 using GAGT
In that case, if only one of the two sites in the kallang/whampoa project lies within 4km from my parent's place, am i still eligible for the married child priority scheme?

Feb launch

The Feb launch seems to have less options.
