you can login to HDB with singpass, then select Application status-new flat
you can see queue number above flat selection details.

If you urgent to make baby then just get first even if its chui. Because if you need your parents help and staying near you, chui or not is secondary. Next time when your kid grow up you can plan to move house to a better unit.

Things to look out is really depended on your queue number. If you have a very good number then you can look out a lot of things like no west sun, higher level, flat type, noise and so on. If queue number not good then not many things can be look out. Only take it or not.

Thanks.

Queue is about 80 percentile.

Quite behind so not expecting good flat remaining.
But still want to know what other people usually look out for so can plan for.

Thanks.

I just booked my flat last week. First thing for me is no west sun, then is the noise followed by the level then flat type. A bit regret didn't select the top floor, my shortlisted stack top floor was still available when I went down to HDB Hub.

Thanks.

How do you see the west sun ah? I tried the calculator but have no idea how to use correctly.

Didn't know that all face same direction.

Ok so west sun means when sun coming down then shine inside your house. So afternoon to evening all the hot sun go inside?
