I just applied today, but was not prompted by the HDB website to select a location. Do you select the location at point of application or only when HDB call you up for appointment?

Anyone knows if we have to move in immediately after selecting the flat?

I see.. thanks. Are you allowed to delay the rental by one or 2 months? Seems too rush to start paying rental by 1 Nov when you are selecting on 28 Oct...

Nope,not allowed to delay.

I would suggest u apply the month before you wish to move in.Pls go down and check out the units that is available to u when they give the the lists of unit.

For me 3 rm is enough as 4 rm is too big n ex for me n wife.

The rental does not cover utilities, I forgot to check whether need to pay the CC fees as I told them that i wish to cancel my application.

u can appeal to delay if you have existing tenancy agreement that lasts until 1-2 months later. must show the original TA to appeal. you can book the unit but you won't get the keys until
a later date.

From HDB website:
For a PPHS flat allocated under the fiancé/ fiancée scheme, the married couple must produce their original Marriage Certificate to the managing HDB Branch for inspection within 3 months from the date of allocation of the flat.

The date of allocation of the flat is not the key collection right? Planning to make sure it is furnished then get married..

Hi. Can anybody enlighten me on the amount of stamp fees payable?
Eg. 1100 + 1100 + ?
1st month rental + 1 month deposit + stamp fees - upon choosing your rental unit.
Thank you..

Saw this furniture/electrical appliance rental service on the PPHS website. Roughly like $290++/mth and needs to rent at least 12mths. 3k-4k per year. Might as well buy then move to the new house later...?

Any idea why would someone wants to rent it?

hope they dun wait till all 5rm gone then do another round.
who would rent a 5rm if their BTO is a 3rm/4rm... Most BTO are 3rm/4rm. Unless they put 5rm same price as 3rm/4rm...

me too looking for 3rm but at the moment left only 4/5rm.
it is not wise to opt for 4/5rm, more costly and i dun need the extra room.

went to HDB check when is the next launch of new location, no answer at all. just tell u wait...wait...wait...sigh...
