Singles buy 2 room bto got what grants?

After September 2019, what are the grants that singles above 35 years old can get when they apply for 2 room bto?

Are the grants for 2 room bto the same amount as grants for buying resale hdb?

Both are singaporean citizen who are still single

Do both of them get the same amount of grant from hdb?

The information in hdb website is not clear

Seems like buying resale hdb has more additional grants as compared to bto

Single buying Resale = Single Grant + Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (Singles) + Proximity Housing Grant (Singles)

Based on your given scenario (Alex).
Single Grant (average gross monthly household income must not exceed $7,000):
- $25,000 (2- to 4-room resale flat)
- $20,000 (5 room resale flat)

Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (Singles):
Average Monthly Household Income Over 12 Months = $27,500 grant

Proximity Housing Grant (Singles):
To live with parents/ child = $15,000
To live near parents/ child (within 4km) = $10,000

Single buying New BTO = Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (Singles)

Based on your given scenario (Desmond).
Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (Singles):
Average Monthly Household Income Over 12 Months = $27,500 grant

The word single being used is abit confusing. Is a divorcee consider single? So the grant shall be the same for both? It is better to apply all type of grant for the first subsidy flat cos u will still need to pay a resale levy when applying for another subsidy flat whether u have taken the grant or not.
