Weekends sure super crowded. They have family tradition of yum cha with the family. Sit there for hours.

maybe sg standard improves

price wise almost the same
guess due to strengthen usd and hk standard of living increase

??? Well, you don't have to go to Macau nor Lantau. If you are hard up, you can wait till 2018 for bus services to start running on the HK-Macau bridge. You can take a bus or ferry to Lantau. Instead of the MTR, you can walk more or plan such that you do not need the subway so much.
