Hotel is very accessible, just above Jordan MTR.

If you are taking Airport Express shuttle, you will need to walk a short distance from the alighting point to the station.

Weather is cold, but I still can survive with just a shirt and jeans.

The claypot rice and wanton soup at this mongkok's cha can ting are crazy! My friend and I had a second helping of the wanton soup. ha.
Oooo..alright...hm..i'm glad u find it a short distance.

Where is the claypot rice and wanton soup? Can intro?

Hmm, don't have the address, only remember the way there. From Mongkok MTR, Bank Centre exit, turn right. After you crossed one street, turn left. The cha can ting is located at the right side of the street.

You should see them cooking claypot dishes outside.

Came back from Disneyland today, the fireworks are amazing.

Didn't see what hotel u were in,i tried clicking on it but nothing pop out. Aniway,i was at HK last month, tried to take the Nong Ping Cable but was told the service was suspended due to weather but according to my HK fren,it was becos one of the cabin drop down!

Wax museum u can either take a tram up.At about seven minutes each way, riding the Peak Tram is the quickest and most scenic way to arrive at The Peak. The lower Peak Tram Terminus is easily reachable by foot from the MTR in Central or by public transportation.

Refer to this ---> http://www.thepeak.com.hk/full/en/index.php for more info. This place is where the wax museum is located at.You can hv a breathtaking view of HK famous nite scenery and then go to the Wax Museum. Wah...best nite view u come across..

Try the nite market,Temple St at Yau Ma Tei,Ladies Market & Fa Yuen St at Mongkok.Causeway Bay also hv some market but not sure got last till nite cos i went during the day.For shopping mall,i think Langham place is not bad,Citigate for the Factory outlets and Element is suitable if u hv deep pockets.

Must try are the Wanton noodles! The Zhong Zai Rice aka Steamed Rice and the Dim Sum....are not bad too. There's also the dessert. Can go to Tang Dynasty for the Dessert...

These are just suggestion bro. It's up to you to plan but i advise u do homework 1st ,plan before u fly over so u can maximise the time over there. Hv fun there!
Thanks!!! Really appreciated it.
I think i will be going to citigate.

not too sure if i have time for the 360 cable.

the wantan noodles, that you mentioned, is it the one at mongkok?
how do i get there?
any exact address?

Mongkok, that resturant had the best Scallop friend rice i ever had...

If you visit discoverhongkong.com, you will know the shops will not be open during CNY...much like a dead city...about the same as Singapore lor...so not very worth to go during CNY la...=)

really depends on your interests.

theme park ; ocean park or disney hk?

if go peak before that go to causeway bay (times square) for hk shopping experience, wanchai (shopping) and central (look for the hk tourism walking tours at their site)

stanley market, aberdeen

walk around temple street, ladies street market, sham shui po market, tsim sha tsui - harbour front, mongkok etc
take star ferry

go hk island, lamma, cheung chau, lantau. enjoy seafood

you're staying at harbour plaza metropolis right? there isn't very much around there. small mall at the hotel. you can walk along the esplanade to TST, quite a nice walk. there's free shuttle that goes to TST - half hour intervals.
