hi all,

from my understanding, the summer sale period (july-sept) vary yearly. anyone knows when is the sale period this yr...?

and according to the weather forecast, thunderstorm and rain is expected in september so i hope to avoid that period..

Around the same period. Do note that the later you go the higher the chances of the good stuff being sold out. It's not thunderstorm and rain, it's typhoon that you should worry about. During Cat 8 typhoons the country shuts down with airport, ferry and public transport closed down.

Just got back today. Whether was great for the past week except for a bit of rain last Wednesday evening when I was in Sai Kung having seafood.

Possible some sales but not as much as July/Aug.

I am planning to head down to Hk again around last week of July. Any advice? So far, the airfares are all normal rates.. Would i save more if I book closer to that period (for both Air fare and Hotel stay) ? Ty for the advice bros.

if u r going in july can try SQ promo rates. got mine in jan for may trip for SGD789/ 2pax

Waiting for HK's national carrier to drop their rates... When will they follow SQ to drop the rates o__O

SQ will have ransdom promo every now n then, just take note.. last week i think SQ has the promo again..

Anybody know how to use the octopus card on airport bus or public bus? Is the method same as our Ezlink card?

same.. and they hv more topup kiosk.. also i feel that theirs processes faster..

its the same, except that u dont need to tap when you alight.

Bus service is we tap when board and tram is we tap when we alight?

its the same, except that u dont need to tap when you alight.
Except for MTR it's flat fare for the others.
