Erm, sori, but Im abit confused.

If Im goin to The Peak from Central MTR, do I have to walk over to Star Ferry terminal to take Bus 15C and stop at the Lower Peak Tram Terminus?

Or can I take 15C from Central directly?

I'd be going at end Sept, will the sunset be earlier or later than Oct?

Thanks alot.
wah u all don't need to sleep?

Clarity, if you are going to The Peak on peak tram then walk to the peak tram terminal, or u can board 15C at star ferry terminus if you are lazy to walk upslope, but the star ferry terminus is some distance from Central MTR. 15C does not serve Central (Exchange Square)

The sunset should be later, but i may be wrong =)

Better for you to take bus instead if you dun exercise regularly. My wife was struggling to conquer the steep upslope... complaining all the way to the tram terminal

The toru guide will ask you to pay HK$50 per person at the end of tour anyway.
Also along the way, lots of etra $ etc. Those land tour package in HK really all out to kill!
we r asked to pay HK$50 even when we decide not to join the 1/2 day tour.

the tricky part is at HK Disneyland, how to make use of the LIMITED opening hours to get the best out of it

There are some guides to follow, like what rides to go first, what are the scedules of some events like the Street Parade that happens 1/2 times aday. Fireworks timings, get FAST PASS for rides while go for quick lunch... etc etc
would love to see ur guide

woohoo Cosmic Guest house not bad ah see the outlook of the hostel
anyway i've tried 4hostel in Mirador Mansion namely
Traveller's Friendship,New Kowloon,New Garden and USA Hostel
all not bad de but nvr tried Cosmic Hostel though
below are the pro's and cons staying in Mirador

one thing is the location is good with TST MTR D1 & D2 exit just beside the building and unlike Chung King Mansion its not so complicated.

Easily Accessible with Airport Express Bus A21,East TST KCR,TST MTR & Star Ferry & Various Outlying island Ferry services

All over the building there's alot of st hawker, restaurant Yum cha and cha chan ting.

After 11pm they will lock the side gates with security checkpoint n the main gate
various lifts will be shut down but there should be at least 2 working lifts

But the lift are super super slow and always got alot ppl take the lift sometimes its better to take the stairs.

Most hostel should have double door locked(one to the corridor and one to ur room
Corridor sometimes smells abit but bearable

Anyway the good location+ the cheap price sort of all covers the negative points

within walking distance to Avenue of Star/Star Ferry Terminal

And yes confirm they accept HKD$ and most hostel will ask u to leave deposit of not more then $500HKD and yes the one i went to accept credit card

Hahaha... she was wearing cross trainers. However if there's a crabtree & evelyn sale at the terminal, she'll probably reach there faster than me

Hi,

I've already booked 4 nites @ Cosmic Guest House. Noticed that Kowloon new hotel is also @ Mirador Mansion. May I know if the area is safe @ nite? Heard from someone that there are indians lurking around Mirador Hostel (Not sure if it's same as Mirador Mansion).

Haha.. May I know how much time u spend @ the peak itself?

Did u visit Madame Tussauds? Is it worth visiting?

Also, would it be nearer to walk from Admiralty station, Exit C to Lower Peak Tram Terminus? Saw on the map for Madame Tussauds and it seems Admiralty seems nearer

Also, can anyone tell me if Hard Rock Cafe is near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR?

Address : Hard Rock Cafe Hong Kong, G/F & 1/F, Silvercord, 30 Canton Road, T.S.T., Kowloon, Hong Kong

lol hmnn no indians for sure only ang mohs and Negro leh
anyway the ang mohs are safe just steer clear of negros and indian touts (normally outside the building) can le.
btw Mirador Mansion comprises of hostel, offices and shops as well as tenants,
Overal the area is safe de lol u book le then ask ah?
its definitely safer and less complicated then Chungking mansion opposite man.
Also to add some these hostel have various units in diff level and they dont really have a front office there so u will need to keep ur door locked+latched @ all times.
Avoid leaving/coming back to the hostel alone always go in group.
Guess overall should be more pro's then con's

now is to just sit back relax and wait for the big day to come le
