there are plenty of websites. you can take mtr to chai wan and then start walking to tai tam gap. at the end of the hike, you can take a bus along shek o road. use google map and ask locals if you need directions.

If really feeling unsure, join HK meetup group and join them for hikes. But they may not be hiking to Dragon Back depending on when you go...

Try going to hongkonghikes.com!

blog title: hong-kong-trail-section-8-dragons-back

It's one of the most popular hikes in hongkong, there'll be other tourists and locals around, won't get lost one

it is a nice getaway from the city streets.
not difficult for old folks too - just take plenty of short rests in between will do.

see if u want to do a short hike (u-turn) or hike all the way to the other end.

take bus 9 from shau kei wan mtr station to dragon back hiking area where there is a public toilet then hike the whole trail. you will return back to the same spot. after that cross the busy shek o road to the opposite bus stop to take bus back to mtr station.

I don't find that place ulu. still can see so many housing flats while hiking and the shek o road has so much traffic.

For those who already did high junk peak, ma on shan, tai moh shan and lead mine pass, and maclehose stage 5, are there any other good hikes to so in a morning?
