Unless you are really fearful of oled image retention or screen burnt, the sk8500 even with it's zonal FALD is still not a match for oled which can turn off each individual pixel.. picture quality wise, i think oled still win by a large margin.

Like not bad leh, $2699 with $200 MasterCard means you’re paying $2499 only. And roadshow give free bicycle now. Later no more promotion go back to $2899.

Is it a good deal? Still considering.

Depend on what you are watching. I find that oled is exceptionally good for 4k hdr content, below that i think any 4k led tv will do.

OLED 4K is exceptionally good for HD (1080) as well :-) It not just the resolution that matter to OLED.

You are not doing justice to the LG oled c7t by playing 1080p. Hahaha. I m not saying 1080p doesnt look good on it, just that a 4k hdr will really blow you away.

Nah, It is perfectly fine to watch 1080p content on 4k oled tv.

so long you found the best quality source for that particular content, there's nth much you can do more.

i will only say oled is not worth if you do not intent to watch movies but only cartoon, sports or local channels.
