Good news.

LG technician decided to change after running refresher for 5 times.

But they still deny its a panel issue. Claim that its a burn in.

Well if it's a burn in, then they still need to own up.. They are the ones who claim that burn in is fixed.
Caveat emptor..

Had a good talk with the technician as well.

Apparently he mentioned alot of customers are not aware that physical damage to the panel = warranty void.

For sure myself am aware what is a physical damage done and that is surely warranty void no questions asked.

I hope that this technician did not come up with the conclusion that your panel suffered physical damage.

Anyway nice that you got it fixed.

Not sure why they tech said like that, but iirc lg dun cover burn in, so that's why pp avoid lg oled

LG themselves have admitted this is a factory issue, and not a burn in issue, so it's either the technician doesn't know any better, or he is covering up the truth.

Irony is that it would have cost LG less to just update the lookup table within the TV, rather than to change the entire panel (which will also change the hardware that contains the lookup table, as that is panel specific).

He show me alot of photos of the site that he visited. Some customers even flare up on the spot asking why issit not covered.

Seriously ridiculous. Lol.

Some models are suffering for manufacturing defect. Panel flickering. Which he didn't tell me which model. He mentioning this kind will on the spot change.

I accept burn in if I intentionally do that.

Which is weird that even their team lead doesn't know. Just say replace after 5 x screen refresher..
